On the West Coast of the United States, it’s raining a lot in Northern California, and many people in Portland, Oregon, are without power after freezing rain. In Oregon, nine people have died because of the weather, including three in Portland who were killed by a power line.
The National Weather Service says that things will get better after the weekend. They say that no more very cold air is coming from Canada, and the weather will slowly become warmer in the middle of the United States starting on Sunday.
