When is the AFC Championship Game?
In the upcoming AFC championship game on Sunday, Isiah Pacheco, the running back for the Kansas City Chiefs, will be on the field despite dealing with ankle and toe issues that kept him from practicing this week. Marlon Humphrey, the Ravens’ cornerback who missed last week’s playoff opener, is also set to play. Additionally, Mark Andrews, Baltimore’s tight end, returns to the game after recovering from an ankle injury suffered on November 16 against Cincinnati.
Pacheco, a key player in the Chiefs’ running game, impressed with 97 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in the previous weekend’s divisional playoff win against Buffalo.
Unfortunately, the Chiefs will be missing wide receiver Kadarius Toney due to a hip injury, and All-Pro guard Joe Thuney is also inactive with a pectoral issue. Other players on the Chiefs’ inactive list include cornerbacks Keith Taylor and Ekow Boye-Doe, linebacker Willie Gay (neck), and defensive ends BJ Thompson and Felix Anudike-Uzomah.
On the Ravens’ side, inactive players consist of quarterbacks Malik Cunningham and Josh Johnson, receiver Tylan Wallace (knee), cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (knee), linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips (shoulder), center Sam Mustipher, and guard Sala Aumavae-Laulu. Johnson is designated as the third quarterback.
