The 2024 Critics Choice Awards crowned Oppenheimer as the big winner on Sunday night, bagging eight awards, including the coveted Best Picture. Robert Downey Jr. also clinched the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film.
Barbie stole the spotlight, securing Best Comedy, Best Song for “I’m Just Ken,” and Best Original Screenplay. American Fiction grabbed the award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Acting awards went to Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph for The Holdovers, with Emma Stone winning for Poor Things.
Succession took home the title of Best Drama Series, and acting honors went to Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin for their roles. The Bear was crowned Best Comedy Series, and Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach received acting awards. Beef clinched the Best Limited Series award and three acting awards for Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, and Maria Bello.
Chelsea Handler hosted the event, where America Ferrera received the eighth annual SeeHer Award, and Harrison Ford was honored with the Career Achievement Award. You could catch the 2024 Critics Choice Awards live on The CW.
